On 1.11.2019 an inauguration ceremony was held in Herat for the conservation of the mausoleum of Wahiz-e Kashifi in the presence of HE Governor Qayyum Rahimi and a number of dignitaries. Work has since begun at the site, where the historic mausoleum will be repaired and its garden rehabilitated, while opportunities will be provided for student interns to develop project management skills and for apprentices to participate in manufacture glazed tile panels to match the surviving fragments on the monument
